What's with the West?

We seem, online at least, eons behind the rest of Canada in terms of Green Wedding planning.
Through my own frustrations finding information tailored to planning a green/more environmentally-friendly wedding on the prairies, I discovered that there was a need for some one-stop-shop kind of resource sharing.

Thanks to my hours of tireless and determined (perhaps downright obsessive) research and phone calls, I now feel that I have some information to share. That's where this blog comes in. What better way to share it than in little, digestible, searchable pieces?

Like cake! Yes, like eating a delicious, 100% organic, healthy for the planet, free-trade chocolate and..er.. educational... piece of cake. Well, maybe that analogy isn't perfect, but I hope that this blog will helpful anyway.

I want to make the planning process much easier on future western green brides-to-be.
